Woodside Splash Park

SOUTH AUSTRALIA

Woodside Splash Park is an exciting addition to the Adelaide Hills War Memorial Swimming Centre in South Australia. The splash park takes inspiration from the region’s landscape and features vines, grapes and native flora in its design. The 250m² inclusive play space is designed to blend comfortably with its local surrounds by using the slope of the land to create streams and various play areas.

The top natural play space is formed by locally sourced rock and carved concrete to create streams which water from a hand-pump courses down when activated by users. A series of weirs are set amongst the streams and rocks which allow children to direct and channel the flow of water as it spouts from the top.

Flowing on from the natural rock zone is the splash pad which consists of three levels of colourful and interactive features including a large dumper bucket, water cannons, cascading mushrooms, ground sprays and arch sprays.

The Woodside Splash Park offers families a safe, fun and accessible place to cool off on hot summer days.
