This naturally inspired babbling brook water feature is designed to create a calm and soothing ambiance for visitors to Pinaroo cemetery.
The brook was designed to cause negligible interference with the existing vegetation and to work with the existing falls of approximately 1100mm to ensure that the water trickling through the spillways and formed rock work will diffuse and mute the existing traffic noise.
The brook is 32 meters in length and varies from 400 to 1000mm in width. It is formed from coloured shotcrete and clad with limestone rocks and rubble to complement and blend with the existing landscape.
